CHSLSC COMPLETES 24-HOUR ROW

CHSLSC COMPLETES 24-HOUR ROW

On Sunday, club members took part in the annual NSW Surf Life Saving 24-hour row to raise money for mental health. What a crazy 24 hours it was, from hot and humid conditions to a night of monsoon rain and wind.

Little sleep was had by the dedicated team who took the row into the night and early morning hours where they battled the weather elements while still clocking up the K’s.

A huge thanks to all those who were involved along the way, we rowed a total of 702,869km! A special mention to Rachael Smyth, Scotty Edwards, Simon O’Rorke, Marty Jervic and Matt Heron who were not only part of the night crew but took part for the whole 24 hours, absolute legends, together they clocked up 267,860 of those km’s completed. So far we have raised $1,790, we still have a little way to go to reach our target goal of $2,500 so please reach deep within your pockets and remember to donate before the donation closing date of 6th of November.  To donate, click here.
