When and where did you start your surf life-saving journey ? 1969
What awards do you have? Too bloody many, most precious is my Bronze.
What is the best part of being a surf life saver? Giving back to the community and SLS movement and the surf club family.
What makes a great surf life saver ? Commitment- Vigilant and a touch of stupidy.
Favourite surf life saving event? Board Relay and Board Rescue if done properly & boats of course.
Favourite surf club moment? Coaching competitors to State medals and Aussie finals.
Who is your favourite Ironman? I saw grant Kenny win in 1980 that was special winning the Junior and Senior Iron in a space of ½ an hour, at the moment probably Kendrick Louis.
What would you like to achieve in surf life saving in the future? Karen says retirement, seriously just trying to make our Club successful across the board.
