NIPPERS CARNIVAL DATES

Carnivals are for age groups from U8’s to Open’s unless specified. Club Nippers will not be run on these dates. Club swimmers and club cap must be worn. We are required to provide officials and water safety, based on the numbers we enter for each carnival. Therefore, if your child wishes to compete we need at least one parent to assist with our club requirements.

We have a bronze course on the 4th & 5th December, which will assist with our water safety requirements. Or if you are unable to assist in water safety, please become an official. It is a 30 min online course then at the 2 carnivals, you will get supervised then be signed off.

Our requirements for officials and water safety again will be based on the number of entries. So if your child wishes to compete, please participate. The more help we have, the more of an ability we have to rotate, so all parents can watch their child/children participate. We are required to submit officials next week for country champs, so if you are already an official please let Leticia know. Otherwise, we are still be required to have our quota filled once we have our final competitor numbers.

Our coaching team strongly suggests that if you would like to compete at this level, you should be attending a minimum of 2 sessions a week. At State Level, normally you can only choose between water and beach events, not both. We will be asking for carnival entries in the near future. Please login to the Teams App and nominate.
