PADDLE FOR MILLSY AT THE JETTY

Coffs Harbour lifeasaving legend the late John Mills OAM has left an enormous legacy on the North Coast community as a NSW and Australian surf champion and National representative and as a coach and mentor to so many.

John passed away peacefully at home on February 1, aged 94.

To celebrate the life and times of John Mills, a special “Paddle Out For Millsy” will be held at The Jetty, Coffs Harbour on Thursday, April 14.

Paddlers who have been coached by John over his last 40 years of dedication are invited to have one last paddle around The Jetty in his honour.

From 11.30am All paddlers, swimmers gather at The Jetty

12 Noon: Paddle around The Jetty “One Last Time For Millsy.”

12.15-12.30pm: Memorial Paddle out to the end of The Jetty for a traditional water memorial service including an ashes scattering of John and his wife Marge’s ashes.
