100th Anniversary History: Coffs Harbour wins Bi-Centenary Country Championships at Moruya

Did you know?

In 1990 Coffs Harbour beat Byron Bay at the Bi-Centenary Country Championships at Moruya?

It was a tight leaderboard. Coffs was considered the favourite to win the overall point score. Coaches of the small team encouraged all competitors to enter as many events as they could. Boaties competed in the water events with the Beachies, and Water competitors were to be found sprinting on the sand to win the flags. With such a huge effort from everyone the team ended up winning the overall point score.
